Life Lately

We've been pretty busy over here, with midterms and school and work and life. I love spring time though. Here's whats been going on lately.  Our car had a rough week, a flat tire one day and a cracked windshield the next. While I was sitting waiting for them to repair the tire, Sammy made dinner. Pizza Pasta. It was delicious, and since I was starving one of the best meals ever.   We had a huge Apple event at work for faculty and staff only. It was a fun day, a huge party all day.  Christopher was super huggy that day and wouldn't let Michael walk by without a huge hug.   He then bought a Macbook and paid in cash, so I had to take this picture. That was the most money I'd ever held. When I sent this picture to Sammy though, he wasn't impressed. That's what happens when you marry a banker I guess!  My mom sent me this. I was cutting my sisters hair with a headless gymnastics Barbie.  With our tax refund, we went shopping! Th...

9 Months

Today we've been married nine months. I really can't believe it. We're 3/4 of the way through our first year and the time is flying! So, here's some pictures from our wedding and my parents that look really similar, and it wasn't planned at all!

Tuesday Night

Sometimes there's those nights that I just want to remember. Not because of something huge, but the little things. Last week, I had one of those. I was feeling a little crazy and stressed. So I found it frustrating when I couldn't open my gatorade. So, it was the sexiest thing when Sammy was able to open it for me.  My visiting teacher came over for the first time and that was fun getting to know her. When she left I finally had time to eat dinner. In an attempt to be efficient, I ate straight out of the pan, in bed. When I walked in with my pan, Sammy said in a very quiet voice that something had happened. My mind immediately went to someone dying. I asked him what happened, and he repeated that something had happened. Derrick Rose had injured himself. I wanted to hit him, and I laughed. Mostly because I don't understood his families obsession with him. As long as I've been watching basketball, he's been injured. And last time I checked, people can't pla...

Sisters

It's been weird having my sister a few hours away. I'm so used to her being right here. And I miss her. I remember there was this one night two years ago, when she was having a hard time herself. That was the summer of panic attacks for me. It was the middle of the night and I was having another one. I crawled into her bed and she rubbed my back and played with my hair for a little bit, even though she was probably exhausted herself. That meant so much to me.  Looking back at the months leading up to the wedding, I look back and smile at how much she helped me with everything, even though she probably didn't want to. I can't wait to help her with her wedding one day. I can't wait to see her become a nurse or wherever she ends up, she'll be great at it. It's so fun to watch her with animals, she's so good with them.  I love you Brinley!
