Pretzel dogs, puppies, books, singing, and Snape

We went on a Sonic date for dinner the other night. I love Sonic! Sammy even let me get a milkshake. For some reason I have a new obsession with peanut butter ice cream. I tried the pretzel dog and the bus was so good, I took the hot dog out and had the bun by itself.  I can't stop laughing at this I've found people don't laugh until I remind them that that's what Dumbledore and Snape said.  Yesterday was the primary program. We sang our little hearts out and the kids did great. Sammy even had a speaking part.  We like to pretend that she's our puppy and we're a family of three. But then she bites my foot and I'm glad we get to leave ha!  I've been pondering on what The Fault in Our Stars actually means now that I've read the actual line. Because the fault is NOT in our stars.  This is where I've been. There's three books not pictured as well, woo. I'm loving it though. I'm learning so much!  Life is good, I love life :)

Lemme Take a Selfie

But first, lemme take a selfie. Right before I take a nap. In this one, I was demonstrating to Sammy that I was sleeping on his side of the bed because I missed him. I'd just changed my sheets and loved my outfit, so this awkward selfie felt necessary. I missed Sammy and came home to find a pair of his pants laying on the bed. So I cuddled them.  I don't often take selflies, but when I do, I take them with my bed.

Sometimes We Cook

I don't know what it is, but I have finally mastered the art that is spanish rice and fideo. It took me months, but I have done it. In even less time, Sammy has mastered chicken. Our group effort!  Sammy makes such good chicken, every time I'm blown away. I'm so grateful for this because, I can't handle raw chicken. There was a day where I was in the kitchen crying, hacking at a package of frozen chicken with a huge knife and the hot water on blast, packaging and little web blobs all over my arms, when Sammy came in and I begged him for help. I know he would have but he had a dentists appointment. Ever since that day, and the nasty chicken I made for dinner that night, I haven't had to touch the chicken thanks to Sammy.  He actually cooks a lot and it's always so good! We have pancakes for dinner a lot, and delicious scrambled eggs. Sammy makes the best toast I have ever had, which sounds weird but it's so true. Even our dinner guests agree. ;) ...

Family

I love all my family. I love hanging out with them. I love working with them. I love texting them. I just love them. I love my inlaws. They're so sweet and funny and make me feel loved. When I wasn't feeling well, they kept checking up on me. They always invite me to fun events and don't mind having my weird self there. I love watching them hang out. Even though it makes me miss Brinley a lot since she's a bit aways. I love how silly they are, and that they wear the same pants. I love walking to work and school with them, and knowing I have a brother at work to vent to. I love them. I love discussing peanut butter and who knows what and just catching up. I love that they always support me and do what they can to help me do my homework.  And I love Remy. She slept on my lap for an hour and it was the best.  I love my family, all of them! I'm so glad that there's forever to spend with them.

Rough Week

Last week was rough. It wasn't that rough, but compared to the last few months, it stunk. But, with everything that stunk, looking back I've been able to find some positives. After crying all the makeup off, we watched the Office and House. :) It all started Sunday night. I was scrolling through the Facebook before going to bed. I clicked on something by mistake, one of those silly articles about celebrities being bad kissers. I'd been to the particular website before, so I didn't freak out. Well, moments later, my browser freaked out alerting me  that my things were being frozen because I was looking at child pornography and downloading music illegally. I couldn't get it to close. I used my limited computer knowledge, and then, texted my co worker who is Mac savvy.  He was too drunk to help me, so I finally texted my dad. I was so embarrassed and beating myself up. My entire life my dad has been teaching me about internet safety and all the ways to get a ...

Coke

Once upon a time there was a girl named Kylee. Kylee can never finish a can of pop in one sitting. So, instead of opening a pop for herself, she always takes sips of her husband Sammy's. Well once, Sammy thought Kylee was drinking too much of his pop and suggested she get her own. To which she said, "you have to share this pop with me! It says so!"  The end. Also, Kylee is going as Tris for Halloween again and saving her stick on tattoos. She's trying to convince Sammy to go as Tobias, but he doesn't really want to go around shirtless. Oh darn!

Don't Be a Lab Rat

I live in Colorado. We're kind of famous for our legalized weed. Woo. Not really. But everyone seems so excited about it. So I was pleasantly surprised when I saw a commercial of a car, with cool music. The screen goes around the car and shows it's filled with smoke. It ends saying don't be a lab rat. I went to the website and checked it out. It's pretty informative and full of studies. It takes the idea of smoking weed and adds a twist to it. No one likes to be ruled by the man. So what if by fighting the man, you're really giving into the man and becoming a lab rat?! I've never smoked weed. But, I have a lot of friends who have or still do, especially my first year of college in the dorms. I know what weed smells like. I know that you shouldn't mix weed and alcohol. I've seen the gear, know the terminology, blah blah. And I can attest, it's so addictive. It's not harmless. Let me tell a story. My first year of college, I was introduced to a...
