Seven Down, One to Go

Well, I just finished another semester of college. Which means that I only have ONE left. One. One more semester of school, and then I'm done. That's seventeen years of my life, finished. And then it's time to be a grown up. . . Which is horrifying. But, I'm trying not to stress about that until March when I start looking for jobs.  So much happened this semester! And in the tiny bit of summer since I last blogged. WARNING: This is a long post. I would have broken it up, but I know that I wouldn't have actually finished writing it all if I did.  I burned my hand cooking, and then I had to go get Sammy from work. We don't own any ice packs, so I used this fish. When Sammy saw me sitting in the car holding a fish, he thought I'd finally cracked, and had made it my pet or something. Nope! Meg Cabot, my favorite author, followed me on Twitter. I've actually had a lot of my favorite authors like my tweets, answer my writing questions, and so on!...

The Biggest Catch Up Post Ever

Since the last time I blogged: A squirrel chilled in my wheel well We celebrated the sweetest mother's day by going to church with my parents, and then the boys made brunch afterwards. My dad taught Sammy and Tanner the best way to make pancakes and it was so cute seeing all the men in my life working together.  I scared the crap out of my bro in law  I finished up my junior year of college with lots of class parties. Instead of bringing food, one classmate brought temporary tattoos.  I've gotten over my fear of cooking chicken, and found the best way to tenderize it. I met Kazuo Ishiguro, my first author signing. I waited in line an hour for him to sign my book but I made a friend.  I created this fun game where anytime Sammy fell asleep while I was cooking dinner, I would take pictures with him, then text them to him to make him wake up.  We 'rescued' this cat.
