Crazy Socks & Writer's Block

You know you had good girl time when you had no time to take pictures :) I got to hang out with Kelsey today and it was awesome! We've known each other since the 7th grade. It hasn't been all unicorns and daisies though. We've gone through some rough times. But when it really matters, we're always there for each other. Girl Time consisted of: Frozen yogurt Petting Puppies Taco Bell Thrift Store Resisting going back into the puppy store. . . Multiple times Looking for consolation cards for not being able to afford a puppy Sitting on couches and NOT getting kicked out of a furniture store for once! And much, much, more. :)

My sister's 16th birthday was the other day. So now I can officially sing the 16 going on 17 song to her. I made sure to tell everyone that was her age that, she's 16 now, so she can go on dates. My parents aren't too thrilled about this new development in her life. Ha! For her birthday, she got a curling iron and a straightener. She realized just a little bit ago that when I leave, my straightener will leave with me, so she needs one of her own. And I guess she just want's a curling iron. She asked me if it was the right kind to which I replied, I don't know. Hi! I have naturally curly hair. I don't know how to use a curling iron. I hope the day never comes that I have to learn how to use one, because then I'm screwed. I tried curling her hair for her. It didn't turn out so pretty. You're welcome for getting the song stuck in your head :) We had graduation practice today. I thought that it was weird that we had to practice but I'm so glad we did! It's a very complicated process. It's almost here. . . I got my cap and gown today, and I even got a tassel! I didn't think I was going to get one! I don't know what the tassel's for though. Oh well! After practice today we had our senior bbq. Since it was so cold outside we had it in the gym. It was really fun, those teachers sure do know how to grill! The rest of the day was spent chilling in the gym, eating, signing yearbooks. The things you do when you're never going to see people again. A few friends and I snuck into the school to get our yearbooks signed by teachers, man we are such rebels. I couldn't find all my favorite teachers but it's no big deal. I don't need them to sign my book to remember them. I always will. Hopefully. I do have a pretty good memory, bo...
