This weekend has been plain craziness! On Thursday Sammy's grandma passed away. I'm so glad I got to meet her.
After an afternoon of crazy texts, I found out we were leaving Friday morning and we were driving to Indiana. Driving. In one day. It was rough and hard and so long but we made it. I tried to take a selfie in every state.
I had a picture from Illinois but since it was so late, it was awful. I didn't take any pictures in Indiana surprisingly.
This was my first time east of Colorado. I saw a lot of things like the St. Louis arch, Amish people, and I almost saw the lovely Bailey from becomingbailey.com
I met so many family members and got about five hundred hugs daily. Luckily we got our own hotel room with a jacuzzi tub! After twenty hours in the car, I needed a break from the inlaws.
The service was very beautiful and a bit strange to me. It was my first Carholic funeral. So many loving stories were shared about Sammy's grandma which were fun to hear. I had a really cool personal moment at the funeral as well, like I've never had before.
Now I'm in an airport waiting for my first flight since I was two years old. I'm a bit nervous but it beats twenty hours of driving. Plus it's like a glorified mall here! I had soup for lunch and it wad so good! I can't wait to get back home though, I miss our little apartment so bad!
Almost! So close, yet so far!!!
