We were lucky to be able to spend Thanksgiving with both our families. But, Aaron woke up that morning pretty grumpy. We were hoping that once we got to my mom's and he played for a bit, he'd be happier, but that didn't happen. He spent most of the time watching Little Baby Bum.
Sammy and I spent some time throwing Aaron's football back and forth while watching the Bears play. (They actually won that day.)
He absolutely refused to nap and didn't want to eat so we put his show on and let him do his thing while we ate. The food was absolutely delicious, and I got to drink my Sprite out of my fancy glass.
After lunch Aaron went with Grandma and played some guitar while we watched the dog show. Then we left and drove around in circles for him to take a car nap. I need to remember when it comes with Aaron that we need to keep our expectations pretty low that way we aren't disappointed with how days go.
After his nap, Aaron was a lot happier. He had some pumpkin pie and played with everyone.
Sammy's uncle and aunt from Mexico were there and we got to meet them which was cool.
There are so many things I have to be grateful for. Our families, our health, our friends, Sammy's new job, all the joy Aaron has brought to our life, and so much more.
