Note to self: Halloween party in college = watching Lord of the Rings. I can dig that. :)

Found out I have to write a 12 page paper for my honors class. At least the topics cool, we have to describe a society in which everyone is self actualizing with evidence from three books. Guess who's referencing Brave New World?! That would be me. That book has really stuck with me, because the ending made me so angry. You can read about that here. But I can truly say it's one of my favorites and has made me think the most and relate it to everyday life. I keep looking at the Tattered Cover to see if they'll get a cheap copy in, because it's definitely one I want to keep on my bookshelf.

I actually got a compliment on my combination of striped cardigan and polka dot pajamas, and it was sincere.


I like him! I'm glad he was able to come to our Halloween party that turned into no costumes and just watching Lord of the Rings. I would just like it to be noted that he wanted to fast forward some parts of the movie as well. 

I love all my friends and especially my roommates. I really did luck out. It's so sweet, my one roommate is waiting up to make sure our other roommate who is currently watch The Two Towers comes back alright. Me? I'm headed to bed. It's finally the weekend!

Because of watching LOTR, we now refer to each other as Brodo.

I feel like a lot of times when going through blogger, I'm always pushing the boundaries a bit. A lot of blogs seem to always be happy and awesome and they just won this free product from someone and it's great! Say Yes?

Well. Today I went dress shopping. And it was a really fun experience! I went a few weeks ago, and that wasn't as fun. I almost fainted because everything was so tight! And I looked like a little girl playing dress up. This time though, I felt sophisticated, it was a much better experience, and I may have found THE dress. I know it's one of these ones, but at the store I thought I was going to get one dress. But as I got home and looked through the pictures again, I think another one will work better and is really THE one. I'm going to sit on it though.  I thought it'd be fun to put the pictures up here and let you all see! Tell me which dress is your favorite! Liebster-ing it up!

Funny story. A few days ago I was reading all the blogs I follow like I usually do. And of course I read  Jana's  blog and read about how she had won the Liebster award.
