We had a greatly needed Labor Day Weekend. Sammy worked late the whole week before and it completely threw off Aaron's schedule. Thankfully he made it home most nights just in time to put Aaron to bed. On Saturday morning of Labor Day Weekend, Aaron wanted nothing but his daddy. He and Sammy went to the park to play basketball while I stayed home and did some writing which I was so thankful for. Afterwards, the two of them cuddled on the couch.
We spent most of Saturday getting errands done which was nice. We usually pack in so many things on the weekends, it's hard to get that kind of stuff done.
There was lots of playing.
More snuggles with daddy.
And then he snuggled up with me while daddy made some dinner and we watched Little Baby Bum together. It's so funny to me how happy that show makes him.
On Sunday Sammy helped me teach my primary class and Aaron was fascinated watching all the kids. Then we headed to Sammy's parents for dinner and it was delicious. Aaron had a lot of fun eating. He had some fideo, and then he stole a whole slice of a tomato to eat. I've tried to give him tomato before but he's made a look of actual disgust, so it was cool to see. He's growing up and changing so quickly.
On Monday we went to a friend's BBQ. Aaron had fun crawling around a new house for a bit, but then he was pretty cranky. He ate some guacamole and tried watermelon which he loved. I was thankful that everyone was so understanding of when we needed to leave and his nap schedule and such. We came home and Aaron napped while we watched shows together. It was a relaxing fun weekend as a family and we loved it.
