Thanks to our library's awesome adventure program we were able to go to the library for free one Saturday. It was so much fun! I wasn't sure what Aaron would think, but he loved it. He was chattering and looking at everything, and would get confused by the glass because he couldn't touch things. He liked it much more than the zoo because the animals were all visible.
We found these spinning chairs and had a blast on them.
He rode the llama with me.
It's crazy taking Aaron to all of the places that I went to as a kid. My favorite part is finding pictures like these and comparing them.
It was easier to compare his size to this tiny little dinosaur.
Aaron got to touch a t rex tooth and poop and watch them digging a bone out of dirt.
He loved looking at things with daddy.
He was very vocal through the museum and was talking to all the animals, but especially these stuffed lions. He was babbling to them for quite a bit. There were a few animals he started full on happy screaming at and so we had to move past those quickly.
There was an exhibit of Russian gemstones tucked in a room and when we were looking at them Aaron started whining very loudly until we went back to the stuffed animals.
I got the cutest video of Aaron and Sammy clapping together in the family restroom that I love so much :) Also, that was the coolest family restroom that I've ever seen.
I can't wait to keep coming here with Aaron as he gets more and more aware. We had a lovely time as a family though and it was nice to find something we could do that entertains all of us.
