Work

I can't believe that a few months ago, I was searching desperately for a new job. I felt unappreciated, looked over, and unhappy. Now, I can't imagine working anywhere else. All it took was an attitude adjustment. The bookstore is really the best place for me to be. It works around my school schedule. I've taken charge of my work. I make sure that it's noticed, I make sure to communicate with my boss and my coworkers. And I love them so much! We have a lot of fun. I'm dreading pre school rush but I know it's going to be ok. I shared my concerns with my boss and he reassured me.

Annnndddd… Sammy's brother works with me now! I got him a job there! He applied at the last minute and all the departments were done hiring. But, I took his application to one of the managers, explained that he was upstairs if she wanted to interview him, and yeah! He had an interview and was hired hours later! We've been carpooling to work and it's so fun! I'm getting to know him really well and I love being able to answer his questions and show him around!

Cookies we got to sample! It was like Voodoo donuts but with cookies! There was even one that had potato chips baked in.

My boss has family in Utah and went there over the weekend. I told him all these places to try, and then I got this text! It made me feel pretty cool! :)

I may not make the most or have a million hours, but I love my job. Right now may be the most stressful week of the world, but I'm reminding myself of the little things that make it fun!

I feel like a lot of times when going through blogger, I'm always pushing the boundaries a bit. Say Yes?

Well. Today I went dress shopping. And it was a really fun experience! I went a few weeks ago, and that wasn't as fun. I almost fainted because everything was so tight! And I looked like a little girl playing dress up. This time though, I felt sophisticated, it was a much better experience, and I may have found THE dress. I know it's one of these ones, but at the store I thought I was going to get one dress. But as I got home and looked through the pictures again, I think another one will work better and is really THE one. I'm going to sit on it though.  I thought it'd be fun to put the pictures up here and let you all see! Tell me which dress is your favorite! Liebster-ing it up!

Funny story. A few days ago I was reading all the blogs I follow like I usually do. And of course I read  Jana's  blog and read about how she had won the Liebster award. I had no idea what it was, so I read her post full of fun facts, and for everyone I kept nodding my head going, I DO THAT TOO!
